VISION & MISSION
Labuan Shipyard & Engineering Sdn Bhd (LSE), a subsidiary of Radimax Group Sdn Bhd and Sapura Energy Berhad (formerly known as SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad), was incorporated on 26 September 2005 and took over the facilities, operations and all business activities of Sabah Shipyard Sdn. Bhd.
Malaysian Industry Council for Defence, Enforcement and Security (MIDES)
The Malaysian Defence Industry Council (MDIC) was initially formed in August 1999 to ensure coordinated and orderly development of the defence industry sector in Malaysia. It was renamed MIDES in 2012 to include the enforcement and security related agencies in Malaysia. Among its main objectives are to steer and direct the orderly development of defence, enforcement and security related industry taking into consideration the objectives of the Government as well as that of the nation as a whole, as well as to discuss common issues and challenges encountered by defence, enforcement and security related companies.
Association Of Marine Industries Of Malaysia (AMIM)
Initially established as the Association of Shipbuilders and Repairers of Malaysia (ASROM) on 14 March 1984 , it became AMIM on 24 July 1997 with a view to broaden its membership and representative spectrum to include all aspects of marine industry activities in Malaysia.
